Privacy Policy

Autism Buddy is a registered trade name of Strategic Supply Solutions LLC.

My Autism Buddy is currently offered only in the United States, the Philippines, and Mexico.

Effective date: September 1, 2026. Policy version: 2026-09-01-v1.

This policy explains what information My Autism Buddy collects, how it is used, who processes it, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you.

1. Parent and account information

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Country
  • State, for United States accounts
  • Adult and guardian confirmations
  • Consent choices and consent history
  • Account and authentication metadata
  • Created and updated timestamps

3. Operational information

  • Notification settings
  • AI usage counts
  • Account activity and data-export audit entries
  • Contact or support messages
  • Security and rate-limiting information, including salted or hashed network information where applicable
  • Functional browser storage used for session and interface state

4. Children and the purpose of the service

  • Child-related information is entered only by an adult parent or legal guardian.
  • My Autism Buddy is not directed to children and does not knowingly permit children to create accounts or use the service directly.
  • The app intentionally asks parents to minimize identifying information and to use an alias or nickname.

5. How information is used

  • Create and operate your account
  • Display schedules and caregiver tools
  • Save observations and notes
  • Prepare reports you request
  • Send the reminders you configure
  • Provide optional Ask AI responses
  • Provide support when you contact us
  • Prevent abuse and maintain security
  • Comply with law and honor privacy requests

6. What we do not do

  • My Autism Buddy does not sell personal information.
  • My Autism Buddy does not use family information for targeted advertising.
  • My Autism Buddy currently has no third-party advertising or behavioral-analytics trackers.

7. Service providers

Personal data may be processed by the service providers used to operate the app:

  • Supabase, accessed through Lovable infrastructure, for authentication, database, and storage services.
  • Lovable infrastructure and Cloudflare-related hosting and runtime services for operating and delivering the application.
  • Lovable's managed email service, which delivers contact-form and other service-related messages from the sender domain notify.autismbuddy.org to the My Autism Buddy contact address. These messages contain only what you submit in the form (such as your name, email address, and message).
  • Supabase authentication sends account authentication emails, such as sign-up confirmation and password-reset messages. Resend is used to send app-generated transactional emails, such as Contact Us messages and enabled reminder emails. Email content is limited to what is necessary for those messages.
  • For Ask AI only, the Lovable AI Gateway transmits your prompt, relevant conversation context, and the system instructions necessary to generate a response to Google Gemini.

8. Ask AI

Ask AI is optional, remains off unless you enable it, and consent may be withdrawn at any time in Settings.

Retention and model-improvement practices applied by AI infrastructure providers may depend on their applicable service terms and configuration. Do not enter legal names, medical records, contact information, precise locations, or other unnecessary identifying information into Ask AI.

9. Your rights and controls

Identity verification may be required before a privacy request is fulfilled. Requests made by an authorized agent may require proof of authority.

  • Access and review your information

  • Withdraw optional Ask AI consent
  • Withdraw consent where applicable
  • Ask questions or submit privacy requests at autismbuddyinfo@gmail.com
  • Nevada, Washington, California, other applicable U.S. state, and Philippine rights will be honored when applicable

10. Retention

  • Active family account content is retained while your account remains active, unless you delete particular records earlier.
  • When an account is permanently deleted, active account and family content is deleted from the production application, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, consent-evidence, and backup retention.
  • Consent evidence and minimal audit records may be retained only as reasonably necessary to demonstrate authorization, respond to disputes, comply with law, or document deletion, and are separated or minimized where practical.
  • Contact inquiries are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations.
  • Security and rate-limit records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and abuse prevention.
  • Backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten through the service provider's normal backup cycle.

11. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, including authentication, access controls, owner-scoped database policies, and server-side authorization.

No online system can guarantee absolute security.

12. International processing

Information may be processed in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate. Reasonable measures are used to protect information as required by applicable law.

13. Functional storage

My Autism Buddy uses required functional browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences.

14. Philippine privacy information

  • Strategic Supply Solutions LLC, doing business as Autism Buddy acts as the personal information controller for Autism Buddy account information.
  • The purposes, data categories, recipients, retention approach, and security measures are described in the sections above.
  • Philippine users may exercise rights of access, correction, erasure or blocking, objection, data portability where applicable, information, and complaint.
  • Requests may be sent to the Privacy Lead and Data Protection Officer at autismbuddyinfo@gmail.com.
  • Users may also contact the Philippine National Privacy Commission.

15. Mexico privacy information

  • Strategic Supply Solutions LLC, doing business as Autism Buddy is responsible for the Autism Buddy account information described in this policy.
  • An account is created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older, who decides what child-profile information is entered and can change or remove it at any time.
  • The purposes, data categories, service providers, retention approach and security measures described in the sections above apply to users in Mexico.
  • Users in Mexico may contact the Privacy Lead and Data Protection Officer at autismbuddyinfo@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, and may also use the in-app export and account-deletion controls.
  • This section describes how we handle these requests. It is not a guarantee of compliance with any particular law, and it does not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

My Autism Buddy is an organization and support tool for parents, caregivers, and independent adults. It helps organize routines and information. It does not provide or replace diagnosis, therapy, treatment, medical or clinical advice, emergency services, or professional caregiver training.

My Autism Buddy is not an emergency service. If a child or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
