Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy covers information that could reveal, or be interpreted as relating to, health, behavior, mood, developmental support, symptoms, interventions, appointments, or care needs.
1. What we treat as consumer health data
My Autism Buddy treats mood, behavior, observation, support-preference, parent-note, report, reminder, and related Ask AI content as sensitive consumer health data when applicable.
The precise information collected depends entirely on what the parent chooses to enter.
2. Why it is collected
Collection beyond what is necessary to provide the requested features is not intended.
- To provide the organizational tools the parent selects
- To save the entries the parent creates
- To prepare reports the parent requests
- To provide reminders the parent configures
- To generate optional Ask AI responses
3. How it is not used
- Consumer health data is not sold.
- Consumer health data is not used for targeted advertising.
- Consumer health data is not provided to sponsors.
4. Sharing
Sharing is limited to processors necessary to operate the service, to comply with your direction, to protect safety and security, or to comply with law.
For optional Ask AI, relevant prompt and conversation information is transmitted through the Lovable AI Gateway to Google Gemini to generate a response. Ask AI authorization remains separate and optional.
5. Your requests and appeals
A parent may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of applicable consent by writing to autismbuddyinfo@gmail.com.
If a request is denied, you may reply to the denial email with the words "Privacy Appeal." The appeal will be reviewed by a different responsible person where practicable.
6. Nevada and Washington disclosures
Nevada: consumers may request that My Autism Buddy not sell certain covered health information. My Autism Buddy does not sell consumer health data.
Washington: consumers covered by the My Health My Data Act may request access to, and deletion of, their consumer health data, and may withdraw consent to collection and sharing.
These disclosures are provided for transparency. They do not mean that either law applies to every user or to every record.

My Autism Buddy is an organization and support tool for parents, caregivers, and independent adults. It helps organize routines and information. It does not provide or replace diagnosis, therapy, treatment, medical or clinical advice, emergency services, or professional caregiver training.
My Autism Buddy is not an emergency service. If a child or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
